We most times find ourselves busy asking God for something that we really do not need, bribing him that if he gives you that one thing, you will do something in return, as soon as you have it, you forget your end of the bargain. Our God is not a God of bargains, HE has a lot in his silos that can last you a lifetime.
Growing up my grandmother would say God’s denial of something is preparation for something bigger. So, I refuse to put myself in a cocoon and settling for less, I am allowing God to take full control and do his will in my life.
As the beautiful Maya Angelou said,
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, Large Tea Cups Cute Tea Cups Wholesale Vintage Tea Sets Amber Bangle Bracelets we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
God has a plan for each person and the reason HE makes our paths meet is so that we may learn something from each other. Problem is that we always think that the plan that God has for us is grand, super and something that is beyond imagination and many of us die even without fulfilling it because we are waiting for a “GRAND” revelation.
Have you stopped to ask yourself why God has put it into a particular space at a specific time? Why God gave you that family? Why God gave you that special person in your life?
Stop waiting for the GRAND revelation and start living your life like you have it figured out.

It is 7’o clock in the morning and you have to wake up for work. “Why must I be up so early?” You ask yourself. “I probably should own my own Company so that I can rise as I please,” (usually such a misconception but that is for another day) you think to yourself. But the world has dealt you the wrong cards, hasn’t it? It has played you so bad and now you have no choice but to get out of your warm comfortable bed and get ready for work.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT! “AAArgh” (Get it?) Do I have to? You have no choice though, you haven’t managed to save enough of your salary to buy your own car because you need that extra cash to buy pampers. You’re late for work and there’s so much TRAFFIC.
We could go on and on about how much we are getting the short end of the stick. We are constantly complaining! It is always too hot or too cold. We are never satisfied. It’s too this or that….it is never just okay or good enough.
It is very important that we take time off each of our days to say thank you. Large Tea Cups Cute Tea Cups Wholesale Vintage Tea Sets Amber Bangle Bracelets For the little things and the big things. Give thanks for the life you have and the gift you got to see a new day today otherwise you would not be reading this. Give thanks for that job you have, at least it has enabled you to have that warm comfortable bed. Give thanks that you have money to take that public means of transport otherwise how would you have liked the constant use of your Feet-subishi?
Give thanks! It is important. It keeps you sane. You are able to back track and see what you have today that you didn’t have yesterday. You realize that you are indeed blessed. Blessed beyond measure. Blessed with your portion.
Human is to err and we may sometimes falter but don’t despair, the minute you catch yourself being ungrateful, stop, and GIVE THANKS!
Have yourself a blessed week!

“We are the future….”
I am sure many of us have already come across this phrase in the various media channels. These words come about in many of our conversations. We, however, do not realise that talking and simply doing nothing about it doesn’t really help us realise the very fact that “We are the future”.
So how best can we realise our BIG FUTURE ?
Keep walking your walk: Wherever smart people work, doors are unlocked and one fact about life is that it is a journey, a long long journey. Another is that we each have a destiny and a purpose that no one else on earth can fulfil. You alone can understand how far you have travelled and you know your journey better. Sometimes it has hurt you and at other times it has been pretty comfortable.
Have you travelled long-enough ? Has your journey equipped you well enough for your next fight? The good fight? Have you instead, been attracted to fear and despair?
It is courage and resilience that has brought you to the NOW and ‘NOW’ is the right time to help you remember that it’s never over until it’s done. Find your strength, keep pushing your walk towards your dream.
A keen eye on the next move: Doing without thinking is as good as thinking without doing. Large Tea Cups Cute Tea Cups Wholesale Vintage Tea Sets Amber Bangle Bracelets A plan is writing actionables, with deadlines, and proper preparation is key if you are to succeed. Push your efforts in a certain direction and have clarity in your milestones to keep stock of your progress before making the next step.
Walk beside others and be their friend: Liverpool FC says YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE. That is exactly how you should play life, as a team! Understand that everyone’s contribution is important, no matter how small they are or how big you are. Get along with people and recognize that the strength of a team is in the people! With their different views and personalities. Make an impact on people and help someone get where you are just like someone somewhere helped you.

Storytelling is a wave that is sweeping the world. The fear of missing out is real and I am quickly trying to acquire this art before I become irrelevant.
I actively listen to how other people tell their stories so that I can learn how to tell mine. I have been taking notes, and there is one thing people tend to do that bothers me; when I ask people to introduce themselves, many start by saying their names then quickly jump into stating what their job
“Hi.. My name is Mr X and I am an accountant/banker/Doctor.”
Why do we let our work define us? Do we eat, breath and bleed ‘our work’? There is no formula to how this should be done but a good storyteller will tell you your job should be part of story but not the only story.
I believe somewhere in our introductions we should mention something about our beliefs, , Large Tea Cups Cute Tea Cups Wholesale Vintage Tea Sets Amber Bangle Bracelets our families, interests, our fears and even the things that motivate us. That way we create some human connection that otherwise would be hard to get when we define ourselves with just our jobs.
