As a digital advertising agency, we have moments where another campaign proposal may suck the life out of us. Not because it’s not brilliant but because it doesn’t get us excited about putting it out there or worse, present it to the client. And no one ever wants to fake excitement about any kind of job.
The thing with being on the brink of dissatisfaction is you can either fall into that dark abyss, which is not an option in this advertising industry or you can think of, if we may, ways to bring back the spark or create new sparks altogether.
After all, the worst thing you can hear as an agency person is your client groaning about how other people are doing amazing things.
Whatever makes you uncomfortable is your biggest opportunity for growth ~~Bryant McGill.
That opportunity for us was the Qwetu AR Invite.
There’s no glory in being the first one to do something. The glory is in doing it well.
We pulled this off and we’re quite proud of ourselves.

Objective: Invite exclusive media personalities for the Qwetu Media Tour.
Ultimate Goal: Position Qwetu as a thought leader in innovation and as a forward-thinking brand. Speaking of, you should see the student accommodation they’ve built. There was no chance of kawaida (regular) things with this one.
